From experience, we recommend pursuing two tracks in parallel: looking for a permanent job (sending out your resume) alongside casual jobs. Often, and especially when a worker proves themselves, connections form with the employer — or through them with other people — that lead to permanent jobs and to advancement within the community.

The Chabad House's large traveler survey is designed to provide objective information from many travelers who have worked in Australia, based on the personal experience they went through. The information will give you a snapshot of job opportunities: the best way to look for work, how much you can earn, how long it takes to find a job, and many other things worth knowing.

With the help of a local volunteer programmer, we developed an efficient, non-profit platform for workers and employers, which will help you find jobs and realize your plans.

To gain full access to the jobs (as well as additional perks such as discounts and coupons for travelers), you need to receive an access code at a meeting at the Chabad House with Dudu or Sarah. The purpose of the meeting (black coffee on the house) is to understand your needs and goals, so that we can assist you in the best way and connect you properly with the local community.
